| My work is based on the moment. Each layer of a painting represents a feeling or thought from the time that it is created. It is always about the process. A painting might sit for days or weeks before I know what I am going to do to it next. Oftentimes, I find myself reusing my own drawings, photographs, relief prints, or silkscreens. My photography inspires and often shows up subtly within my paintings. |
